50 books a year

So i noticed something on another person's blog talking about reading 50 books a year, so I thought that I would give that a try. Reading sounds like a noble thing to do, and we could always use a little more nobility. Let's see it is September and I am starting kind of late, so I will make the goal for the rest of 2007 18 books. That means four books in September, four in October, five in November, and five in December. That sounds possible and I will write about my findings in each book that I read. Sadly for the rest of the semester most of the books will most likely have to do with Advertising, due to my major, but you never know there could always be some Psychology books thrown in there.

Obedience

The greatest thing that we are called to do as Christians is to obey G-d completely. G-d is the ultimate authority but he also chooses others to be authorities here on this earth. Until respect for authority is accomplished, then one cannot truly obey G-d. The two greatest principles on earth that I long to live out are trusting and obeying G-d. Not my will, but the will of the Father. This is the ultimate sacrifice and sign of obedience.
